Crock Pot Ranch Chicken Sandwiches
Ingredients:
2 lbs (900g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 cup (240ml) chicken broth
8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
6-8 sandwich buns
Optional Toppings:
Lettuce
Sliced pickles
Shredded cheddar cheese
Bacon crumbles
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
Pour the chicken broth over the chicken to keep it moist.
Step 2: Add Seasonings and Creaminess
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
Add the cubed butter and softened cream cheese on top of the chicken.
Step 3: Cook
Cover the crock pot with a lid.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Step 4: Shred and Mix
Once the chicken is done, shred it directly in the crock pot using two forks.
Stir the shredded chicken with the creamy ranch sauce in the pot until well combined.
Step 5: Assemble the Sandwiches
Toast the sandwich buns lightly if desired.
Spoon the creamy ranch chicken mixture onto the buns.
Add optional toppings such as lettuce, sliced pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, or bacon crumbles for extra flavor.
Serve warm and enjoy these easy, creamy, and flavorful sandwiches!
