🥔 Crispy Potato Squares (Air Fryer)

Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes (russet or Yukon gold)
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional extras:
- chili flakes
- rosemary or thyme
- grated parmesan
- onion powder
Instructions
- Prep the potatoes
- Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into even cubes/squares (about 1–1.5 cm).
- Rinse under cold water to remove excess starch.
- Pat very dry (this = crispiness).
- Season
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and any extras.
- Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C / 400°F.
- Spread potatoes in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
- Air fry 10 minutes, shake/flip.
- Cook another 8–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Final crisp boost (optional but elite)
- Sprinkle parmesan or extra salt in the last 2 minutes.
