Creamy Seafood Gratin With A Golden Cheesy Crust

Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb scallops
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 cup seafood stock
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:
Sauté the Seafood: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add shrimp and scallops, cooking for 2-3 minutes until just opaque. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour. Cook for 1 minute.
Creamy Base: Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Assemble the Gratin: Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a baking dish, layer the seafood and pour the creamy sauce over. Top with mozzarella and breadcrumbs.
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with crusty bread.
