Ingredients
For the “Pasta”
- 4 cups zucchini noodles (zoodles) or 2 packs shirataki noodles, rinsed & drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
For the Beef & Sauce
- 500g (1 lb) ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated (plus more for topping)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles:
- For zucchini noodles: sauté in olive oil for 2–3 minutes until just tender, then set aside.
- For shirataki noodles: boil for 2–3 minutes, then sauté in a dry pan to remove extra moisture.
- Brown the beef:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
- Drain excess fat if needed. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- Make the creamy garlic sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until sauce thickens (about 3–5 minutes).
- Combine everything:
- Add the cooked beef back into the skillet, stir to coat in sauce.
- Add your “pasta” and toss well so every strand is coated in creamy goodness.
- Serve:
- Sprinkle with extra parmesan and fresh parsley.
- Serve hot and enjoy that cheesy, garlicky bliss.
✅ Pro Tip: If you want an even richer flavor, stir in 2 tbsp of cream cheese when making the sauce.
