Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:
– 1 pound spaghetti
– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1/2 cup white wine
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
4. Add white wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the wine has reduced by half.
5. Add heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Add cooked spaghetti and cooked shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the sauce and the shrimp are heated through.
8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top of the pasta before serving. Enjoy!
