Classic Roast Beef

Ingredients:

3 lbs beef round roast
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 cup beef broth


Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, and oregano.
Rub the herb mixture all over the roast.
Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour beef broth into the bottom of the pan.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until the desired doneness is reached.
Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
