Chicken Lazone
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the Chicken:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter.
- Stir in paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Finish the Dish:
- Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine with the spices.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, turning to coat them in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve:
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
