Chicken Lazone

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
    • Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter.
    • Stir in paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Finish the Dish:
    • Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine with the spices.
    • Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
    • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, turning to coat them in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve:
    • Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
