π Cheeseburger Wrap Recipe
Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps):
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American slices)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- ΒΌ cup diced red onion or pickles (or both!)
- 1β2 tbsp mayo (optional)
- Oil or butter for cooking
Instructions:
- Cook the Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook for 1β2 more minutes, mixing everything well. Remove from heat.
- Warm the Tortillas:
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until pliable.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Lay each tortilla flat.
- Spread a bit of mayo (optional).
- Add a scoop of the beef mixture in the center.
- Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions/pickles.
- Wrap It Up:
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a burrito-style wrap.
- Optional: Toast the Wraps:
- Heat a little oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the wrap seam-side down and cook 2β3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
