Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps):

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Β½ tsp black pepper
  • Β½ tsp garlic powder
  • Β½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American slices)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ΒΌ cup diced red onion or pickles (or both!)
  • 1–2 tbsp mayo (optional)
  • Oil or butter for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
    • Drain excess grease if needed.
    • Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
    • Cook for 1–2 more minutes, mixing everything well. Remove from heat.
  2. Warm the Tortillas:
    • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until pliable.
  3. Assemble the Wraps:
    • Lay each tortilla flat.
    • Spread a bit of mayo (optional).
    • Add a scoop of the beef mixture in the center.
    • Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions/pickles.
  4. Wrap It Up:
    • Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a burrito-style wrap.
  5. Optional: Toast the Wraps:
    • Heat a little oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Place the wrap seam-side down and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
