Carb bacon cheddar mini cheese balls
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Bacon: Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels, then crumble it into small pieces.
- Mix the Cheese Balls: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, Parmesan cheese, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Shape the Cheese Balls: Use your hands to form the cheese mixture into small bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. You should get around 12-15 mini cheese balls.
- Chill: Place the cheese balls on a tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Garnish (Optional): Before serving, you can roll the cheese balls in some additional chopped parsley or a sprinkle of paprika for extra color and flavor.
