Caramel Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup caramel bits or caramel sauce
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, beat butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
Stir in the caramel bits or drizzle with caramel sauce.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy your caramel cheesecake cookies!
