Canned tuna Toast

180 g of canned tuna

180 g of cream cheese

Slices of white bread

2 eggs

Green onions (scallions)

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

1 onion

Begin by finely chopping the green onions and the onion. Set aside in separate bowls.

In a mixing bowl, flake the canned tuna with a fork until it’s completely broken down.

Add the cream cheese to the tuna and mix until well combined. The cream cheese will make the mixture rich and creamy.

Creating the Mixture:

To the tuna and cream cheese mixture, add the chopped green onions and mayonnaise. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.

In a separate bowl, beat the 2 eggs. Add the beaten eggs to the tuna mixture and stir until the mixture has a consistent texture.

Take slices of white bread and spread the tuna mixture generously over one side of each slice.

If you like, add some slices of the chopped onion on top of the tuna mixture for an extra crunch and flavor.

Heat a pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the bread slices with the tuna mixture facing up in the pan.

Cook until the bottom of the bread is golden brown and crispy, then carefully flip each slice to cook the tuna side until it’s slightly golden and the egg is fully cooked.

Serve these delicious tuna melts hot, either as is or with a side of your favorite salad for a complete meal.
