Bread pizza recipe
Ingredients:
- Sliced bread (white, wheat, or any type you prefer)
- Pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, diced vegetables, cooked chicken, etc.)
- Olive oil or melted butter
- Italian seasoning or dried oregano (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the bread: Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet. You can use as many slices as you want to make multiple bread pizzas.
- Spread the sauce: Spread a layer of pizza sauce evenly on each slice of bread. Leave a little space around the edges for the crust.
- Add cheese: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Make sure to cover the sauce evenly.
- Add toppings: Add your desired toppings on top of the cheese. You can be creative here and add whatever you like – pepperoni, sliced vegetables, cooked chicken, etc.
- Seasoning (optional): If desired, sprinkle some Italian seasoning or dried oregano on top of the toppings for extra flavor. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like it spicy.
- Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter: Drizzle a little olive oil or melted butter over the toppings. This will help the pizza to brown nicely in the oven.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet with the prepared bread pizzas in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
- Serve: Once done, remove the bread pizzas from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two. Then, slice them into pieces and serve hot.
