Sliced bread (white, wheat, or any type you prefer)
Pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, diced vegetables, cooked chicken, etc.)
Olive oil or melted butter
Italian seasoning or dried oregano (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the bread: Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet. You can use as many slices as you want to make multiple bread pizzas.
Spread the sauce: Spread a layer of pizza sauce evenly on each slice of bread. Leave a little space around the edges for the crust.
Add cheese: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Make sure to cover the sauce evenly.
Add toppings: Add your desired toppings on top of the cheese. You can be creative here and add whatever you like – pepperoni, sliced vegetables, cooked chicken, etc.
Seasoning (optional): If desired, sprinkle some Italian seasoning or dried oregano on top of the toppings for extra flavor. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like it spicy.
Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter: Drizzle a little olive oil or melted butter over the toppings. This will help the pizza to brown nicely in the oven.
Bake: Place the baking sheet with the prepared bread pizzas in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Serve: Once done, remove the bread pizzas from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two. Then, slice them into pieces and serve hot.
