Diabetic-Friendly Bay Leaf & Clove Tea Recipe:


🌿 Bay Leaf & Clove Blood Sugar Tea

Ingredients

  • 4–5 dried bay leaves
  • 5–6 whole cloves
  • 2 cups water
  • (Optional) 1 small cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Add water to a small pot.
  2. Add bay leaves and cloves (and cinnamon if using).
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Turn off heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes.
  6. Strain into a cup.

How to Drink

  • Drink 1 cup in the morning on an empty stomach.
  • You can also drink another cup in the evening.
  • Do not add sugar or honey.

  • This is a supportive herbal drink — not a replacement for diabetes medication.
  • If you take insulin or blood sugar medicine, monitor your glucose levels.
  • Avoid excessive intake (no more than 2 cups daily).
