Barney Butter Green Beans with Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 lb. green beans, freshly cleaned and trimmed
- 1/4 cup Barney Butter Smooth Almond Butter
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup almonds, sliced and toasted
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk the almond butter, lite soy sauce, red wine vinegar, and sugar until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large pan, sauté the vegetable oil with the minced garlic over medium heat for roughly 3-5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- When the garlic is golden brown, add in the green beans. Sauté for 5-10 minutes or until the green beans are a vibrant green color.
- Mix in the almond butter sauce, coating the green beans thoroughly. Top with the toasted almond slices. Enjoy!
