Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese (preferably full-fat)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese)
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing the baking dish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or dill) for garnish
- Optional: 1/4 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika for extra flavor
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish with butter.
- Prepare the mixture: In a bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. Add the cottage cheese, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika). Stir until well combined.
- Pour into the baking dish: Pour the egg and cottage cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is slightly golden.
