Baked Cottage Cheese Eggs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (preferably full-fat)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing the baking dish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or dill) for garnish
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish with butter.
  2. Prepare the mixture: In a bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. Add the cottage cheese, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika). Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour into the baking dish: Pour the egg and cottage cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is slightly golden.
