Baked Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or chopped)
  • 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Chicken Filling:
    • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Assemble Crescent Rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
    • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point, tucking in the sides slightly to keep the filling in.
  4. Prepare for Baking:
    • Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley or Italian seasoning.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve warm with a dipping sauce like ranch, honey mustard, or marinara!
