1 slice of cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
1 English muffin or bagel, split and toasted
Butter or cooking spray
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:-
Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Set aside.
Cook the Egg: In the same skillet with the bacon drippings (or you can use a separate skillet), crack the egg into the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the egg to your desired level of doneness (e.g., over-easy, over-medium, or scrambled).
Assemble the Sandwich: While the egg is cooking, toast the English muffin or bagel halves until golden brown. Spread butter on the toasted sides if desired.
Layer the Ingredients: On the bottom half of the toasted English muffin or bagel, place the cooked bacon slices. Then, place the cooked egg on top of the bacon. Finally, add a slice of cheese on top of the egg.
Top and Serve: Place the other half of the English muffin or bagel on top to complete the sandwich. Serve immediately while hot.
Optional: You can customize your sandwich by adding extras like sliced avocado, tomato, spinach, or hot sauce to your taste….
