Air Fryer Tea Loaf
Ingredients:-
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, currants, etc.)
Instructions:-
- Preparation:
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Grease a small loaf pan that fits inside your air fryer basket (typically about 6 inches long).
- Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- Wet Ingredients:
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beat until well combined.
- Combine and Mix:
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined. Fold in the dried fruits.
- Baking:
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. Place the loaf pan in the air fryer basket.
- Air Frying:
- Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cooling:
- Allow the tea loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Serving:
- Once cooled, slice and serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
