Air Fryer Ribeye Steaks
Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite steak seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Steaks: Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Brush each side of the steaks with olive oil. Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper. If desired, you can also sprinkle on some garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite steak seasoning for extra flavor.
- Place Steaks in Air Fryer: Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned ribeye steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not touching each other.
- Air Fry: Cook the steaks in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for about 8-12 minutes, depending on your desired level of doneness and the thickness of the steaks. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130-135°F (55-57°C); for medium, aim for 140-145°F (60-63°C).
- Check Doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steaks. Remember to insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the steak for the most accurate reading.
- Rest and Serve: Once the steaks reach your desired doneness, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a juicy steak.
- Enjoy: Serve the air fried ribeye steaks with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad….
