Air Fryer Potatoes and Sausage meal

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 small to medium-sized potatoes (you can use any variety you like)
  • 1 pound of your favorite sausages (such as Italian, bratwurst, or chorizo)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes, then cut them into bite-sized pieces. You can leave the skin on for extra flavor and texture.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the potato pieces with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes evenly.
  4. Place the seasoned potato pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they aren’t overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Cook the potatoes in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, shaking or stirring them halfway through to ensure even cooking. They should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  6. While the potatoes are cooking, you can prepare the sausages. Depending on your air fryer’s size, you may need to cook the sausages separately or alongside the potatoes.
  7. If cooking sausages at the same time, place them in the air fryer basket or tray, and cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through. The sausages should be browned and cooked through.
  8. Once the potatoes and sausages are done, serve them on a plate or platter. You can garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or chives for a burst of color and flavor.
  9. Enjoy your air-fried potatoes and sausages hot, perhaps with some mustard, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauce on the side…
