Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into rings or wedges
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
  • Optional: a pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pineapple: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter (or coconut oil). Toss the pineapple slices in this mixture until they are well-coated.
  2. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Air Fry the Pineapple: Arrange the pineapple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
  4. Cook: Air fry for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the pineapple is caramelized and slightly golden around the edges.
  5. Serve: Enjoy warm with a sprinkle of extra cinnamon, or serve with ice cream for a sweet treat.
