AIR FRYER MUSHROOMS AND ONIONS
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Slice the mushrooms and onions.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced mushrooms and onions.
- Season the Vegetables:
- Add olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- If you like, you can also add a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar for extra flavor.
- Toss everything together until the mushrooms and onions are well-coated with the seasoning.
- Air Fry the Vegetables:
- Spread the seasoned mushrooms and onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You might need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The mushrooms and onions should be tender and slightly caramelized.
- Serve:
- Once done, remove the mushrooms and onions from the air fryer and serve immediately. They make a great side dish or topping for steaks, burgers, or even salads.
