🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4–6 slices ham (deli ham works great)
  • 4–6 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, mozzarella, or Gruyère)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional extras:
    • Dijon or honey mustard
    • Black pepper
    • Everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Pastry

  • Lightly flour a surface and roll out the puff pastry just a bit.
  • Cut into rectangles or squares (usually 4–6 pieces).

2️⃣ Add the Filling

  • On one half of each piece:
    • Add ham (fold if needed)
    • Add cheese
    • Optional: spread a thin layer of mustard
  • Don’t overfill—puff pastry expands!

3️⃣ Fold & Seal

  • Fold pastry over to make a pocket.
  • Press edges with a fork to seal.
  • Brush tops with egg wash.
  • Sprinkle seasoning on top if using.

4️⃣ Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place pastries in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  • Air fry for 8–12 minutes, until:
    • Golden brown
    • Puffy
    • Cheese is melted inside

Tip: Check at 8 minutes—air fryers vary!
