Air Fryer Frozen Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of frozen vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, or a mix)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.
  2. Prepare the vegetables: Place the frozen vegetables in a mixing bowl. Drizzle them with olive oil or spray them lightly with cooking spray. Toss the vegetables to coat evenly.
  3. Season: Sprinkle salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings or herbs over the vegetables. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  4. Air frying: Transfer the seasoned vegetables to the air fryer basket. Spread them out in a single layer for even cooking. If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook them in batches.
  5. Cooking time: Air fry the vegetables at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. Cooking times may vary based on your air fryer model and the size of the vegetables. They are done when they are tender and slightly golden brown on the edges.
  6. Serve: Once done, transfer the vegetables to a serving dish and enjoy immediately while they’re hot and crispy.

Tips:

  • Check on the vegetables halfway through cooking and shake the basket to ensure even crisping.
  • Experiment with different vegetables and seasonings to find your favorite combinations.
  • Serve the air-fried vegetables with a dipping sauce or alongside your favorite main dish.
