Air Fryer Egg Toast Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 slice of thick bread (sourdough, brioche, or sandwich bread)
- 1 large egg
- Butter or olive oil (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, herbs, avocado, chili flakes
Instructions:
- Prepare the Bread:
- Lightly butter one side of the bread if desired.
- Use a spoon or press with the back of a glass to create a shallow well in the center of the bread without tearing it through.
- Add the Egg:
- Carefully crack the egg into the well in the center of the bread. Tip: Crack into a small bowl first, then pour into the well for more control.
