Air fryer Egg in a Toast.

Ingredients:

  • Slices of bread
  • Eggs
  • Butter or cooking spray (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional toppings such as cheese, bacon, ham, or vegetables

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to around 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes. The exact temperature and time may vary depending on your specific air fryer model, so consult your user manual.
  2. Prepare the bread: Take slices of bread and create a hole in the center of each slice. You can use a cookie cutter, the rim of a glass, or a knife to cut a hole. This will be where the egg goes.
  3. Butter the bread (optional): If you like, you can spread a small amount of butter or use cooking spray on one side of each slice of bread. This will help make it crispy in the air fryer.
  4. Place the bread in the air fryer: Lay the prepared bread slices in the air fryer basket with the side you buttered facing down. If you’re using optional toppings like cheese, bacon, or ham, you can add them at this point.
  5. Crack an egg into each hole: Carefully crack an egg into the hole you made in each slice of bread. Be gentle to prevent the egg from spilling over.
  6. Season with salt and pepper: Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on each egg to taste.
  7. Air fry the eggs in toast: Put the air fryer basket with the bread and eggs into the preheated air fryer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the egg is cooked to your desired level of doneness. Keep an eye on it, as cooking times can vary.
  8. Serve: Once the eggs are cooked to your liking and the bread is crispy, carefully remove them from the air fryer. You can serve your air fryer egg in a toast as is, or add more toppings like chopped herbs or hot sauce if desired….
