Air Fryer crustless Quiche
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk (or cream for a richer quiche)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1/2 cup cooked vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, or your choice)
- 1/2 cup cooked meat (bacon, ham, sausage, or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- Cooking spray or a small amount of oil for greasing
Instructions:
- Prepare the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly grease a baking dish or a suitable air fryer-safe pan that fits in your air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil.
- Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and milk (or cream) until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheese, cooked vegetables, and cooked meat.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the mixture, and mix well.
- Pour into Pan:
- Pour the egg mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Air Fry:
- Place the baking dish in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown. You can check the doneness by inserting a toothpick or a knife into the center; it should come out clean.
- Cool and Serve:
- Remove the quiche from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Slice and serve warm.
Tips:
- You can customize the quiche with your favorite ingredients. Add herbs like parsley, chives, or basil for extra flavor.
- If you want a more uniform shape, you can use silicone muffin cups to make individual mini quiches.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer or microwave.
