Air Fryer Crispy Onions

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the onion and slice it thinly. You can use a knife or a mandoline slicer for this.
  2. Place the sliced onions in a bowl and toss them with olive oil until they’re evenly coated. You can also add salt and pepper to taste if you’d like.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
  4. Once the air fryer is preheated, spread the onion slices evenly in the air fryer basket. Make sure they’re not overlapping too much to ensure even cooking.
  5. Cook the onions in the air fryer for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning.
  6. Once the onions are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
  7. Enjoy your crispy onions as a topping for salads, burgers, soups, or any other dish you like!
