Air Fryer Crispy Onions

Ingredients:
- 1 large onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel the onion and slice it thinly. You can use a knife or a mandoline slicer for this.
- Place the sliced onions in a bowl and toss them with olive oil until they’re evenly coated. You can also add salt and pepper to taste if you’d like.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
- Once the air fryer is preheated, spread the onion slices evenly in the air fryer basket. Make sure they’re not overlapping too much to ensure even cooking.
- Cook the onions in the air fryer for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning.
- Once the onions are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy your crispy onions as a topping for salads, burgers, soups, or any other dish you like!
