Air Fryer Corn Ribs

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ears of corn fresh
  • 1 Tablespoon butter unsalted
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt Kosher
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • fresh parsley for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Take each whole ear of corn, remove from the husk.
  • Rub cobs to remove the corn silks from in between the corn kernels and cut off the ends.
  • Place corn on the cobs in a microwave safe bowl covered with a damp paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Let corn cobs cool for 5 minutes on a chopping board or until they are cool enough to touch.
  • Use a sharp knife and slice into the corn cobs: cut the corn in halves lengthwise, and then cut halves into quarters, to make 4 pieces per cob of corn.
  • In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic powder, salt, paprika, black pepper and dried parsley.
  • Brush the corn ribs with the seasoning mixture, coating entire corn rib well.
  • In a single layer place the seasoned corn ribs into the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 400 degrees F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking process.
  • Top with fresh parsley before serving.
