Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

1 pound of chicken wings (about 10 wings)
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: your favorite wing sauce or seasoning
Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Chicken Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. This helps to remove excess moisture, which will make the wings crispier. You can also separate the wingettes from the drumettes if they are not already separated.
Season the Wings: In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper. You can also add your favorite seasonings or wing sauce at this point if you want a specific flavor. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
Arrange in the Air Fryer: Place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded; you may need to cook them in batches if necessary.
Cook the Wings: Cook the wings in the preheated air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking times can vary depending on the size of your wings and the specific air fryer model you’re using. They should be crispy and have an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C).
Serve: Once the chicken wings are cooked to your desired level of crispiness, remove them from the air fryer. You can serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauces or additional wing sauce.

Tips:

Experiment with different seasonings and sauces to create a variety of wing flavors. Some popular options include buffalo, barbecue, honey mustard, or garlic parmesan.
Make sure to periodically check and shake the basket while cooking to ensure even cooking and prevent sticking.
Serve your air fryer chicken wings with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese.
Remember that cooking times can vary, so it’s a good idea to check the wings for doneness and adjust the cooking time as needed.
For extra crispy wings, you can lightly coat the wings with a thin layer of cornstarch before air frying.
