Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks


  • 6-8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: your favorite herbs or spices for additional flavor


  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and any other herbs or spices you’d like to add.
  3. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels, then coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the seasoned drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Cook the chicken drumsticks in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Check for doneness by piercing the thickest part of the drumstick with a meat thermometer; it should register at least 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once done, remove the chicken drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy your crispy and flavorful air fryer chicken drumsticks!
