Air fryer chicken


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: lemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish


  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Brush or rub the seasoned olive oil mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Air Fry the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the chicken in batches.
  5. Cook Time: Cook the chicken in the air fryer for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until the chicken is golden brown on the outside and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) with a meat thermometer.
  6. Rest and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs if desired.
