Air fryer Grilled Caprese Made w/ fresh tomato, Mozzarella & bread recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 4 slices of bread (ciabatta or sourdough work well)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and minced garlic.
  3. Brush one side of each bread slice with the garlic-infused olive oil mixture.
  4. Place the bread slices, oiled side down, in the air fryer basket.
  5. Layer the tomato slices and mozzarella cheese slices on top of the bread slices.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Brush the remaining garlic-infused olive oil mixture on top of the tomatoes and mozzarella.
  8. Place the air fryer basket back into the air fryer and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Once done, carefully remove the grilled Caprese from the air fryer.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving…
