Air Fryer Cheesy Chicken Fritters (Healthy & Easy)
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken breast (or finely chopped cooked chicken)
- ½ cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat or panko; use almond flour for low-carb)
- 1–2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Cooking spray (olive oil or 0-calorie)
🧑🍳 Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheese, Greek yogurt, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, and seasonings. Mix until well combined. Use a spoon or scoop to form small patties (about 2–3 inches wide and ½ inch thick).
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the fritters in the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Lightly spray the tops of the fritters as well.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). They should be crisp on the outside and fully cooked inside.

Serve warm with a side of light dipping sauce (like a Greek yogurt ranch or mustard dip), a salad, or roasted vegetables. These also work great in wraps or over rice or cauliflower rice bowls.
