  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt

  • Optional: Parmesan cheese, lemon wedges, fresh herbs

Instructions

  1. Prep the cauliflower
    • Remove outer leaves and trim stem, keeping the core intact.
    • Slice cauliflower into ¾–1 inch thick steaks (you’ll get 2–3 good steaks).
    • Save loose florets for another use.
  2. Season
    • Brush both sides of each steak with olive oil.
    • Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat air fryer
    • Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Air fry
    • Place steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Cook for 12–15 minutes, carefully flipping halfway.
    • Steaks should be golden with crispy edges and fork-tender inside.
  5. Optional finishing touches
    • Sprinkle Parmesan during the last 2 minutes.
    • Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice or fresh herbs.

Serving Ideas

  • Drizzle with garlic butter or tahini sauce
