Air Fryer Cabbage

Ingredients:

  • 1 small head of cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or any other preferred herbs and spices

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes.
  2. Prepare the cabbage: Remove any outer leaves from the cabbage and cut it into wedges or slices, about 1-inch thick.
  3. Season the cabbage: Place the cabbage wedges or slices in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings of your choice. Toss until the cabbage is evenly coated with the seasonings.
  4. Air fry the cabbage: Arrange the seasoned cabbage in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd it. If necessary, work in batches.
  5. Air fry for 10-15 minutes: Cook the cabbage in the air fryer for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until it is tender and edges are crispy. Cooking time may vary depending on the size and thickness of your cabbage slices, so keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  6. Serve hot: Once the cabbage is cooked to your desired level of crispiness, remove it from the air fryer and serve immediately as a side dish or as part of your favorite meal.
