Air Fryer Biscuits – Flaky Buttermilk Recipe

Air fryer biscuits are the easiest and flakiest addition to your kitchen rotation! These wonderful buttermilk biscuits cook in only 15 minutes and use only 4 ingredients!

Biscuits are breakfast, lunch and dinner food. They’re perfect for any meal of the day- especially when drizzled with honey butter…don’t get me started! These flaky air fryer biscuits will be a hit, instantly making their way into your recipe rotation!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup salted butter, frozen
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup butter milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F. Cut parchment paper to fit the air fryer basket.
  2. Grate the frozen butter into a large bowl. Add flour and salt to the bowl and mix.
  3. Mix in the buttermilk and stir gently until a soft dough forms.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, place the dough and gently press out into an 8×10-inch rectangle.
  5. Using a sharp knife, dusted in flour, cut dough into 8 squares. Place the biscuits onto parchment, working in batches as needed. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown and the center edges feel firm to the touch. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
