Air Fryer -Bbq Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken breasts evenly with this mixture.
  3. Cooking in the Air Fryer:
    • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving some space between them for proper air circulation.
    • Cook the chicken at 360°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
    • After 15 minutes, flip the chicken breasts and brush them generously with BBQ sauce.
    • Continue cooking for another 5-8 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is nicely browned and caramelized on the outside.
  4. Serve: Once done, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables, coleslaw, or cornbread.
