Air Fryer Bangers

Ingredients:

  • 6 pork sausages (or your favorite variety)
  • Olive oil spray (optional)
  • Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Set your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Sausages:
    • Lightly spray the sausages with olive oil if you want a crispier finish. This step is optional.
    • If using fresh herbs, you can place a few sprigs in the air fryer basket for added aroma and flavor.
  3. Cook the Sausages:
    • Place the sausages in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they have some space around them for air circulation.
    • Cook at 360°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through to ensure even cooking.
    • The sausages should be golden brown on the outside and fully cooked on the inside. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
  4. Rest and Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the sausages from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
    • Serve with mashed potatoes, gravy, or your favorite sides.
