Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut in half lengthwise to make 4 pieces)
  • 8 slices of bacon (thin cut works best for crispiness)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (optional, depending on bacon saltiness)
  • Optional: 2 tbsp brown sugar (for a sweet glaze)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chicken:
    • Pat chicken dry and season all sides with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, pepper, and salt (and brown sugar if using).
  2. Wrap with Bacon:
    • Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each chicken piece, overlapping slightly. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  3. Air Fry:
    • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
    • Place bacon-wrapped chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket (not overlapping).
    • Air fry at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until bacon is crispy and chicken reaches an internal temp of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Rest and Serve:
    • Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks carefully.
