Air-Fried Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Set it to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the cookie dough.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix dry ingredients with wet: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula or wooden spoon.
  7. Form cookie dough balls: Scoop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough and roll them into balls. Place the dough balls on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Air fry the cookies: Place the cookie dough balls in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving some space between each cookie. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  9. Air fry the cookies: Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes. Keep a close eye on them, as the exact cooking time can vary depending on your air fryer model. The cookies are done when they are golden brown on the edges but still slightly soft in the center.
  10. Cool and enjoy: Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. They will continue to firm up as they cool. Once they’re at your desired texture, enjoy your air-fried classic chocolate chip cookies!…
