🥣 Ingredients (4 servings)

  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled & chopped
  • ½ lb lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup finely diced celery
  • ½ cup cauliflower florets (natural thickener)
  • 3 cups low-sodium seafood or chicken broth
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or light cream
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste (optional, small amount for flavor)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Sauté aromatics:
    Heat oil in a pot. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes.
  2. Add cauliflower & broth:
    Simmer 12–15 minutes until cauliflower is very soft.
  3. Blend:
    Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add seafood:
    Return to low heat. Add shrimp, cook 3–4 minutes.
    Gently fold in crab meat.
  5. Finish:
    Stir in almond milk/light cream, seasonings, and tomato paste (if using). Simmer 2–3 minutes. Do not boil.
  6. Serve warm, garnish with parsley.
