Diabetic Crustless Pizza Bowl
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
- 1 lb lean ground turkey or lean ground beef
- ½ cup no-sugar-added pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
- ¼ cup diced bell peppers
- 2 tbsp sliced black olives
- ¼ cup turkey pepperoni (or regular, in moderation)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground meat over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in pizza sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Divide mixture into oven-safe bowls or a small baking dish.
- Top with vegetables, pepperoni, and mozzarella.
- Bake 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil 1–2 minutes for a golden top if desired.
