Basic Chocolate Nut Clusters

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate (dark, milk, or semi-sweet chips or chopped bar)
  • 1½–2 cups nuts (peanuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, or mixed)
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate
    • Microwave in 20–30 sec bursts, stirring each time, or melt gently over a double boiler.
  2. Stir in the nuts
    • Make sure they’re fully coated. Add a tiny pinch of salt if you like that sweet-salty vibe.
  3. Scoop & set
    • Drop spoonfuls onto parchment or wax paper.
  4. Let them harden
    • Room temp: ~30–45 min
    • Fridge: ~10–15 min

Done. Try not to eat half of them immediately (or do, no judgment).

Fun Variations

  • Crunchy: add cornflakes or puffed rice
  • Fancy: drizzle white chocolate on top
  • Spicy: tiny pinch of cayenne or chili powder
  • Sweet twist: mix in dried cranberries or chopped dates
  • Extra luxe: sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before they set

If you want, tell me:

  • dairy-free / vegan?
  • super crunchy or super chocolatey?
  • gift-worthy or “I’m eating these straight off the tray”?

I can dial it in exactly how you want 😄
