
Honey BBQ Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Honey BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Season & sear
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden. - Make the sauce
Whisk BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and paprika. - Glaze
Reduce heat to medium-low, pour sauce over chicken, cover, and simmer 8–12 minutes (until chicken reaches 165°F / 74°C).
Uncover the last 2–3 minutes to thicken and glaze.
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs baby potatoes, halved
- Salt
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional garnish: parsley or chives
Instructions
- Boil potatoes
Cook potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (12–15 minutes). Drain. - Make sauce
In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. - Creamy finish
Stir in cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thick. - Combine
Add potatoes back to the pot and gently toss to coat.
Serving Tips
- Spoon extra Honey BBQ glaze over the chicken.
- Add a side of green beans, corn, or a crisp salad to balance the richness.
