Bangers and Mash with Beans

Ingredients:

• 4 sausages (pork or beef)

• 2 large potatoes

• 1 cup milk

• 2 tablespoons butter

• Salt and pepper to taste

• 1 cup baked beans

• Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:

1. Start by boiling the potatoes in a pot of salted water until they’re tender, which should take about 15-20 minutes.

2. Once they’re ready, drain the potatoes and mash them up with the milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

3. While you’re mashing those potatoes, heat a pan over medium heat and cook the sausages until they’re nicely browned and cooked all the way through.

4. In a separate saucepan, gently warm up the baked beans until they’re heated through.

5. Now it’s time to serve! Place the sausages on a cozy bed of mashed potatoes, with a generous helping of baked beans on the side. If you’re feeling fancy, sprinkle some chopped parsley on top for that extra touch. Enjoy your delicious plate of comfort food!
