🥐 Air Fryer Ham & Cheese Puff Pastry

🧾 Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4–6 slices ham (deli ham works great)
- 4–6 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, mozzarella, or Gruyère)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional extras:
- Dijon or honey mustard
- Black pepper
- Everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Pastry
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out the puff pastry just a bit.
- Cut into rectangles or squares (usually 4–6 pieces).
2️⃣ Add the Filling
- On one half of each piece:
- Add ham (fold if needed)
- Add cheese
- Optional: spread a thin layer of mustard
- Don’t overfill—puff pastry expands!
3️⃣ Fold & Seal
- Fold pastry over to make a pocket.
- Press edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush tops with egg wash.
- Sprinkle seasoning on top if using.
4️⃣ Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place pastries in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
- Air fry for 8–12 minutes, until:
- Golden brown
- Puffy
- Cheese is melted inside
Tip: Check at 8 minutes—air fryers vary!
