


Hibiscus and Lemon Tea
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp dried hibiscus petals (or 2 hibiscus tea bags)
- 3 cups water
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 2β3 tbsp)
- 1β2 tbsp honey or sweetener (to taste)
- Optional garnishes: lemon slices, fresh mint, or a cinnamon stick
Instructions:
- Boil the Water:
- In a small pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
- Steep the Hibiscus:
- Remove from heat and add hibiscus petals.
- Let steep for 5β10 minutes depending on how strong you like it.
- Strain & Sweeten:
- Strain out the petals (or remove tea bags).
- Stir in lemon juice and honey or sweetener while itβs still warm.
- Serve:
- Hot: Pour into mugs and enjoy immediately.
- Iced: Let cool, then pour over ice. Garnish with a lemon slice or mint.

- Hibiscus gives the tea a deep ruby-red color and a tart, cranberry-like flavor.
- Lemon adds a citrusy brightness that balances the tartness.
- Sweetener rounds out the sharp edges β adjust to your liking.
