- 3 cups frozen strawberries
- 2/3 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (adds depth and enhances strawberry flavor)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or agave nectar (vegan substitute for honey)
β οΈ Note: Honey is not considered vegan by many due to its animal origin. Use maple syrup or agave for a fully vegan version.

- Prep your equipment
Have a food processor or high-speed blender ready. It needs to handle frozen fruit. - Blend ingredients
Add frozen strawberries, cold water, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup/agave to the blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed. - Taste and adjust
Taste the sorbet. Add more sweetener if needed or a tiny squeeze of lemon juice if you’d like more brightness. - Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture
OR
Transfer to a container and freeze for 1β2 hours for a firmer, scoopable texture.
π¨ Tips:
- You can use fresh strawberries too β just freeze them first.
- For an extra twist, add a few mint leaves or a splash of vanilla extract before blending.
- Keeps well in the freezer for up to 1 week. Let it thaw 5β10 minutes before scooping.
