Ingredients:
- 🥩 1 lb beef strips (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
- 🧅 2 large onions, thinly sliced

- 🍷 ¼ cup dry red wine or beef broth (optional, for deglazing)
- 🧈 2 tbsp butter
- 🛢️ 2 tbsp olive oil
- 🥄 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional but adds depth)
Instructions:
1. Caramelize the Onions:
- In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt 1 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt.
- Cook slowly for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deep golden brown and caramelized.

2. Sauté the Mushrooms:
- In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Toss in mushrooms and cook over medium-high heat for about 7–10 minutes until browned and tender.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Remove and set aside with the onions.
3. Cook the Beef:
- Season beef strips with salt and pepper.
- Increase heat to high. Add 1 tbsp butter to the skillet.
- Sear beef strips in batches to avoid overcrowding – cook each batch 1–2 minutes per side until browned but not overcooked.
- Return all beef to pan.
4. Deglaze & Combine:
- Optional: Add ¼ cup wine or beef broth to deglaze, scraping up browned bits.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce.
